HOW IT WORKS
When you donate by mail, you're not just clearing out your closet. You're proving that sustainability can be convenient. You're keeping functional products out of waste streams. You're making a choice that matters. SneaksGeeks is dedicated to making it as simple as possible for you to join our mission to put an end to sneaker waste. Learn how easy it is to donate your used sneakers by mail below.
REQUEST A FREE SNEAKER BAG
Step 1: Request Your Bag
Fill out our simple online form—it takes less than 2 minutes, we promise. We'll ask for your name, shipping address, and how many pairs of sneakers you're planning to donate. This helps us send you the right size bag for your donation. Donating 2-3 pairs? We'll send a compact bag. Got 10 pairs collecting dust? We'll send you an extra-large bag or multiple bags to fit everything comfortably.
You can also let us know if you have any special circumstances—like needing the bag sent to a college dorm, apartment building with specific delivery instructions, or a PO Box. We've shipped to military bases, remote towns, and everywhere in between. Wherever USPS delivers, we can send your donation kit.
Once you submit the form, you'll get an instant confirmation email with your request details and what to expect next. Then just sit back and wait for your kit to arrive.

RECEIVE BAGS + PRE-PAID SHIPPING LABEL + ADD SNEAKERS TO BAG
Step 2: Receive Your Kit & Pack Your Sneakers
Within 5-7 business days, your complete donation kit will arrive at your doorstep with everything you need to make donating effortless. Inside, you'll find a durable SneaksGeeks-branded donation bag sized perfectly for your donation, a pre-paid USPS shipping label already attached to the bag (no printer required). Everything arrives completely ready to go—no trips to the post office for labels, no hunting for packaging materials, no hassle whatsoever.
Once your kit arrives, simply toss your gently used sneakers into the bag and seal it up. We accept athletic sneakers like running shoes, training shoes, and basketball sneakers, as well as casual sneakers and lifestyle shoes from brands like Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Vans, Converse, and more. Kids' sneakers in good condition are welcome too. What we can't accept are heavily damaged shoes with holes or major sole separation, or non-sneaker footwear like dress shoes, boots, sandals, and heels. As long as your sneakers are still wearable and in decent shape, we want them.

DROP OFF AT USPS, BLUE COLLECTION BOX OR HAND TO YOUR MAIL CARRIER
Step 3: Drop It Off at USPS
Take your sealed donation bag to any USPS location that's convenient for you. You've got plenty of options: drop it off at your local post office during regular business hours, toss it in one of those big blue USPS collection boxes you see around town (just make sure your bag fits through the slot—if it doesn't, stick with the post office), or simply hand it directly to your regular mail carrier during their delivery route. Some people even leave it in their mailbox with the flag up if it's small enough, though we recommend handing it off or using an official drop-off point to ensure it's properly scanned into the system.
The beauty of this program? The shipping label is completely prepaid. You won't be asked for payment at the counter. You won't need to pull out your wallet. You don't pay a single cent for shipping—we've already covered it. Just hand over the bag and you're done. If you want peace of mind, ask the postal worker for a receipt with the tracking number, though you'll also get tracking updates via email once the package is scanned into the USPS system.

Don't just throw them away. Turn them into credits you can actually use.
Ready to make a choice that matters? When you donate by mail, you do more than clear out your closet—you prove that doing the right thing doesn't have to be difficult. You keep perfectly good sneakers out of landfills where they'd sit for decades. You show that sustainability and convenience can coexist.
You become part of the solution to one of fashion's biggest waste problems.
